You will also have to do tasks like laundering their clothes, preparing their beds, washing their dishes and even cooking meals for them. And it goes beyond that too-you will be trained in how to give them the right advice, and that doesn't just pertain to medicine; you might also find yourself motivating them and helping them with their nonmedical problems as well.
You can see that there is much more to home health aide training than meets the eye. It is also about being a better person-after all, if you are helping people to live their lives better, there is nothing more benevolent than that.
